CURATOR'S NOTE

Why We Chose This PieceThis collection first entered our lives through a small autumn festival near our hometown in Missouri, where we discovered the work of Wild Timbers; a husband-and-wife maker partnership crafting hand-carved wooden pieces with remarkable warmth and simplicity.

What drew us in was not only the craftsmanship itself, but the feeling these objects carried with them. Natural wood grain, subtle imperfections, and the quiet weight of something made slowly by hand.

The bowl shown here became part of a family wedding gathering before The Wild Luxe Gallery had fully taken shape. In many ways, pieces like this helped define what we hoped the gallery would become collected, grounded, and deeply connected to the people and places behind the work.

Today, each Wild Timbers piece remains a reflection of that same philosophy: functional beauty created with patience, care, and a reverence for natural materials.
